We are giving salary of government staff nurse in India according to seventh pay commission. In various organizations like MCD, DTC, ESIC staff nurse, RRB Railways, CGHS, AIIMS Hospitals recruited at Pay Level 7.
Nursing Officer Starting salary at Level 7
Staff nurse are appointed at PB-2 ( RS 9300 -34800 ) Grade Pay – 4600. Level 7 according to seventh pay commission matrix.
The basic salary at level 7 is 44900 rupees per month. Staff nurse are entitled to allowances such as HRA, TA, 7200 rupees Nursing allowance per month etc. So starting salary with Total of DA and Allowances will be equal to about 84000 rupees in year 2022 .
The above salary is for GNM. Allowance is also given for higher qualification B. Sc nursing. So nursing officer Gross salary at Level 7 will be around 87000 in metro cities like Delhi , Mumbai Bangalore etc.
After deductions for health, pension and other benefits in hand salary is about 80000 rupees.
For Y class category cities salary is lesser by 4000 -7000 rupees, 10000 less in Z category small town and rural areas.

Structure Of Nursing officer Salary in X class metro cities
Below is nursing officer salary breakup as on may 2022. This is starting salary. DA change every 4months and 3 percent increments are scheduled for every year.
| Basic Pay: | Rs. 44,900 |
| DA (34%): | Rs. 15,266 |
| HRA (Class X 27%): | Rs. 12,123 |
| TA: | Rs. 3,600 |
| DA on TA: | Rs. 1,224 |
| Nursing allowance | 7200 |
| Higher qualification allowance for B. SC Nursing | 3000 |
| Gross Salary: | Rs. 87,313 |
Lower salary of staff Nurse in many states departments
Many states departments on the other hand give much less consolidated salaries. Say 25000 to 50000 for staff nurse, like in Gujarat, West Bengal etc. Contract staff nurse also draw salary in this range.
Government Staff Nurse basic pay increase 3 percent every year, and allowances are revised with inflation rate.
Please note that above government staff nurse salary figures are approximate values.
Also your salary will vary about +- 2000 rupees from above figures due to different allowances in different departments.

yes as per new pension scheme. Not fixed like earlier old pension. new pension depend on performance of share market and supposed to be lower than old pension .
