Without going into details like how to calculate salary . i will provide straight figures.
In most central departments and Delhi government and some other state departments Staff nurse are appointed at payscale of 4600. Like in MCD, NDMC, ESIC hospitals etc.
Staff Nurse Starting salary at grade pay scale of 4600
Staff nurse are appointed at PB-2 ( RS 9300 -34800 ) Grade Pay – 4600
Staff nurses are appointed at level 7 according to seventh pay commission matrix. The basic salary at level 7 is 44900 rupees per month. Staff nurse are entitled to allowances such as HRA, TA, 7200 rupees Nursing allowance per month etc. So starting salary with Total of DA and Allowances will be equal to about 68000 rupees in year 2019 .
The above salary is for GNM. Allowance is also given for higher qualification Bsc nursing. So salary will be around 71000.

Above is entry level gross salary of government Staff Nurse in category A cities like delhi , mumbai banglore etc. After deductions for health, pension and other benefits in hand salary is about 64000 rupees.
For B category towns reduce 3000, reduce further 3000 for C category very small town, and further 1500 for rural area to calculate approximate starting salary.
Lower salary of staff Nurse in many states departments
Many states departments on the other hand give much less consolidated salaries. Say 15000 to 20000 for staff nurse, like in gujarat, Westbengal etc. Contract staff nurse also draw salary in this range.
Government Staff Nurse basic pay increase 3 percent every year, and allowances are revised with inflation rate.
Please note that above government staff nurse salary figures are approximate values.
Also your salary will vary about +- 1500 rupees from above figures due to different allowances in different departments.
