| Educational Qualifications | Master’s from a recognized University in any of the subjects as given in Annexure – 1 Desirable Qualification Ph.D from a recognized University in Bio-Chemistry/ Pharmacology/ Pharmacy/ Biology/ Bio- Science/ Immunology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Virology/ Zoology/ Biotechnology. Essential Experience 4 Years of experience in communicable Disease R&D, including experience in research for pandemic preparedness and response, in Govt/ Public Sector/ Private Institutions. |
| Age Limit (as on 31 August 2023) | Upper age limit is 40 years. Age relaxation: OBC up to 3 candidates Central/U.T. Government Servants: Additional 5 years. PwBD: Additional 10 years

Notes:
- PhD will be considered as 4 years’ experience (irrespective of the duration taken to complete the degree).
- MD/MS or equivalent to be considered as 3 years’ experience.
- MPH/M.Tech/ME will not be considered as any experience.
- Experience in Research & Development related to Biomedical Sciences in Govt./Public sector/Private Institutions will be admissible.
