Applications are invited in the prescribed form through online mode for filling of Nursing Officer Group ‘B’ post at the AIIMS, New Delhi
Name Of Post: Nursing Officer
Pay Band: Level 07 in the Pay Matrix (pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600/
Educational Qualifications:
- (i) B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute or University; Or B.Sc (Post-certificate)/Post Basic B. Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute or University;
(ii) registered as Nurse & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council
OR
II (i) Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council;
(ii) Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council;
(iii) Two years’ experience in minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned at II. (i) above.
Age Limit for Direct Recruits: Between 18 and 30 years. Age relaxation as per rules. See uploaded notification PDF at bottom of this post for details.
Number Of Vacancies: 551 posts (UR-279, SC-82, ST-41 and OBC-149)
Process of Selection: Written Test Only.

How To Apply:
The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their application only through ON-LINE mode. The On-line registration of applications is made available on AIIMS web site www.aiimsexams.org from 13/06/2018 to 12/07/2018 upto 5:00 P.M. No documents including the Registration Slip of on-line application form is required to be sent, however, all the applicants are advised to keep a copy of registration slip with them, alongwith proof of payment for their record. AIIMS Delhi Nursing Officer Exam Pattern And Syllabus
Below we are giving the official examination scheme for AIIMS Nursing officer Recruitment.
1. 200 MCQs of 200 marks with four alternatives for each question.
(180 MCQs related to subject, 20 MCQs related to General Knowledge & Aptitude)
2. There will be negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
3. The qualifying marks in Recruitment Examination will be 50% for UR, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC & ST.
Do not get confused by bogus syllabus etc. supplied on various websites. AIIMS delhi in its advertisement has not declared the specific syllabus. However according to latest exams held for staff nurse by AIIMS questions are asked from syllabus of B.Sc. Nursing i.e as per eligibilty qualification mentioned in advertisement.

- The Exam will be Written Type.
- The Exam will be of Total 200 question/Marks (180 Questions related to subjects & 20 Question expected to be related to General Knowledge & Aptitude)
- The Exam Time Duration of 03 Hours (180 Minutes).
- There will be negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
AIIMS Delhi Nursing Officer Admit Card
Admit card will be available about 10 days before the exam. So expected date is around 5 september 2019. The exam was already conducted on 16 september 2018.
How to download Admit Card: All candidates should download admit card from only the AIIMS original website https://www.aiimsexams.org/. Otherwise admit card may not be treated as authentic. No admit card will be sent through post. Login and download the admit card. We will provide you the link once available.
