Exam Date for UPSC Drug Inspector Exam

The Commission has decided to conduct an Offline Pen and Paper Based RECRUITMENT TEST for short-listing the candidates for the above-mentioned posts on 19^th August 2023 (SATURDAY) (FORENOON SESSION) from 9.30 A.M to 11.30 A.M.

Only those candidates shortlisted in the RT and who fulfill all the eligibility conditions of the post shall be called for is interview.

The last date to apply was 27 oct 2022. Now this exam is going to be held after 9 months of applied date.

Result UPSC Drug Inspector 

The result of written exam for 25 posts for drug inspector is announced. Shortlisted candidates satisfying eligibility Condition will be called for interview.

NOTE-I: INTIMATION ABOUT VENUE OF THE RECRUITMENT TEST WILL BE COMMUNICATED TO THE CANDIDATES IN DUE COURSE.

NOTE-II: RT AND THE INTERVIEW SHALL CARRY A 75:25 WEIGHTAGE FOR THOSE CANDIDATES SHORTLISTED OUT OF THE RECRUITMENT TEST AND THOSE WHO QUALIFY IN THE INTERVIEW.

NOTE-III: NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE OF TEST CENTRE

Expected Cutoff UPSC Drug Inspector 

Let’s discuss expected cutoff for 19^th August 2023 exam. Most candidates reported exam to be moderate to difficult.  Total seats were 25, around 10 for general and OBC category. Taking past trends into account we are giving expected cutoff prediction as below:

Expected cutoff for General category: 50-55 percent marks.

Expected cutoff for OBC category: Around 48 to 50 percent marks.
